Carbon Separation

Flue gases are passed through a liquid solvent, solid adsorbent, membrane, or other medium to separate CO2 from the mixture of gases. Purification would depend on the gas stream conditions (i.e. temperature, pressure, concentration, and the purity) required for the transportation and storage.
