The first in a series of posts about successful CCS projects. Deep Saline Aquifers are considered good potential for CCS projects, but substantial subsurface geophysical and geological work is necessary to demonstrate this suitability and long term integrity. One attraction is the fact that these types of aquifers are widespread and therefore likely in close proximity to GHG emission sites.
